If you’ve seen quail eggs at Costco and weren’t sure what to make, this easy quail egg salad is a great place to start. It’s creamy, slightly sweet, and refreshing, a simple recipe you’ll keep coming back to.

Ingredients

  • 18 quail eggs
  • 1 apple
  • 2 mini cucumbers
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 3 tbsp raisins
  • 3 tbsp almond powder
  • 5 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 5 tbsp Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 2 pinches of salt

Instructions

1. Steam the quail eggs for about 10 minutes. (You can also boil them.)


2. Peel and set aside.

3. Cut apple, cucumber, and bell pepper into small, similar sizes. Remove cucumber seeds to reduce moisture.

4. Add everything into a bowl, including the quail eggs. Add raisins and almond powder. Add mayonnaise, Greek yogurt, and honey. Season lightly with salt. Gently mix everything together until well combined.

Tips

  • Almond powder + raisins → less watery & more flavorful
  • Greek yogurt makes it lighter
  • Best served chilled
