Quick and Easy Apple Kimchi (5-Min Recipe)

Have you ever tried apple kimchi?  It’s crisp, refreshing, and slightly sweet —

perfect as a light and easy side dish. If you want something simple but a little different, this is a great one to try.

Ingredients

  • 2 apples
  • 1 green onion

Seasoning

  • 1–2 tbsp gochugaru
  • 1 tbsp fish sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic
  • A little ginger
  • 1 tsp honey

Instructions

1. Wash the apples and cut them into bite-sized pieces.

2. Add 1 tbsp gochugaru and mix to coat the apples.

3. Add chopped green onion.

4. Add fish sauce, garlic, ginger, and honey.

5. Mix everything lightly.

Tips

  • Coat with gochugaru first to reduce excess moisture
  • Adjust gochugaru to your spice preference
  • Keep the pieces small and easy to eat

It’s light, refreshing, and very easy to make. A simple twist on kimchi that feels fresh and different.
