If you’ve never tried this, it might surprise you. Watercress is refreshing like minari, but even more fragrant. It’s light, nutty, and very easy to prepare — a perfect everyday side dish.

Ingredients

  • 6 oz (180 g) watercress

Seasoning

  • 1.5 tbsp Yondu (vegetable seasoning)
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp garlic
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds

Instructions

1. Add 1 tsp salt to boiling water and blanch the watercress for about 2 minutes.



2. Rinse in cold water and drain well.


3. Cut into bite-sized pieces.


4. Add Yondu, sesame oil, and garlic. Crush sesame seeds and add them in.

5. Gently toss everything together.

Tips

  • Don’t overcook — keep it fresh and vibrant
  • Crush sesame seeds right before adding for better aroma
  • Toss gently to keep the texture light
