Simple and Delicious Kimbap, That I Can Make Every Week!

Carrot Kimbap

Hello K Friends! What food do you like these days? I really like carrot kimbap now. It's easy to make and so yummy! Making kimbap usually takes a lot of work to prepare everything, but today, I'll show you a super simple way to make it.

Carrot Kimbap

Ingredients

  • 2 carrots
  • 7 eggs
  • 2 bowls rice
  • 5 gim (dried seaweed paper)

Instructions

Put two carrots in the chopper and shred them. Once you put the carrots in the chopper, they quickly become shredded like this.

Drizzle about 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan. Add about

  • half a tablespoon of sesame oil and
  • half a tablespoon of garlic
  • half a teaspoon of salt.

Stir-fry well over high heat for 2 minutes.

After 2 minutes, turn off the heat and spread it on a dish and let it cool.

Put about 6 eggs and 2 pinches of salt in a bowl. Mix well.

Add about 1 tablespoon of oil to the pan. Pour in the well-mixed egg mixture. Stir the eggs well. Make them like scrambled eggs.

Put about 2 bowls of rice, half a teaspoon of salt, and 1 tablespoon of sesame oil in a bowl. Let's roll the kimbap.

Place a little rice on the gim (dried seaweed sheets) and spread it evenly. Leave a little space at the end. Generously top the rice with the stir-fried carrots and some scrambled egg. Sprinkle a bit of pepper to your preference. Roll it tightly to prevent the ingredients from falling out.

Brush a little sesame oil on the kimbap for enhanced flavor. Sprinkle a bit of sesame seeds.

Cut it into bite-sized pieces.

Wow, look at this! With just two ingredients, it looks pretty. Serve on a plate and enjoy. Savory and tasty carrot kimbap is done!

How was today’s recipe? It's nice to eat a lot of tasty carrots this way. How about trying carrot kimbap for dinner tonight? Thanks for watching!  I'll see you next week. Thank you! Bye bye!

Notes

  • If you don't have a food processor, you can use a knife or a slicer instead.
  • Famous Korean carrot kimbap tastes better when sesame oil and chopped garlic are added to the carrots while cooking.
  • To make the eggs softer and more delicious, avoid overcooking them and turn off the heat just before they're fully cooked.
