Spam Egg Rice Balls
Hello, everyone! Today, I'm excited to introduce you to a popular Korean dish: Spam Egg Rice Balls. These rice balls are made with savory Spam, soft eggs, and seasoned rice, creating a simple yet incredibly delicious snack. Perfect for lunch boxes or picnics, they are sure to impress. Spam Egg Rice Balls |
Ingredients
- 2 bowls rice
- 6oz (170g) Spam
- 4 eggs
- 1T soy sauce
- 1T sugar
- 1T water
- 1T sesame seeds
- 1/2T sesame oil
- some gim flakes
Instructions
Put 4 eggs in a bowl and add
2 pinches of salt. Mix well.
Heat a pan with 1 tablespoon
of oil, pour in the egg mixture, and make scrambled eggs. Once done, place them
in a plate to cool.
Dice half a can of Spam into small cubes. Cook in a preheated pan over medium-high heat for a few minutes.
Add 1 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp
sugar, and 1 tbsp water to the cooked Spam. Cook until glazed, then cool on a
plate.
Combine 2 bowls of rice,
scrambled eggs, Spam, 1 tbsp sesame seeds, and 1/2 tbsp sesame oil in a large
bowl. Mix well.
Optionally, mix in finely
chopped or crushed roasted gim for added flavor.
