Kimchi Tuna Rice Balls
Hello, everyone! Today, I'm
excited to introduce a special dish: Kimchi Tuna Rice Balls. These rice balls
combine spicy kimchi, savory tuna, and seasoned rice to create a perfect
flavor. It's a simple yet addictive dish that you'll want to keep eating. Enjoy
making and eating this delicious treat!
Kimchi Tuna Rice Balls |
Ingredients
- 2 bowls rice
- 1 cup kimchi
- 1 can tuna
- 1T gochujang
- 1T sugar
- 1/2T soy sauce
- 1t garlic
- 1T sesame oil
- 1T sesame seeds
- a bit cooking oil
Instructions
Squeeze the excess liquid
out of the kimchi and chop it finely. Drain the tuna thoroughly as well.
Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan,
add kimchi, and stir-fry for a few minutes.
Add 1 tbsp gochujang, 1 tbsp
sugar, 1/2 tbsp soy sauce, and 1 tsp minced garlic. Mix well. Add drained tuna
and stir-fry on medium-high until moisture evaporates. Turn off heat, mix in 1
tbsp sesame oil and 1 tbsp sesame seeds. Tuna kimchi stir-fry is ready!
Roast a few papers of gim
(seaweed) in a pan. Later, you will crush these to use in the rice balls.
Mix 2 bowls of rice with 2
pinches of salt, 1 tbsp sesame oil, and 1 tbsp sesame seeds.
Spread rice in your hand, place tuna kimchi stir-fry in the center, and shape into a ball.
Crush roasted gim in a plastic bag and roll the rice balls in it, if desired. Enjoy immediately or wrap in plastic wrap to keep their shape for later.
