Easy & Healthy Carrot Salad
Hi everyone! I’ve seen this
carrot salad many times before, but I finally made it myself — and I loved it! It’s
light, sweet, and tangy — perfect for a healthy meal or snack. This
French-style carrot salad is also becoming really popular in Korea! Let me show
you how to make it — it’s super easy!
Ingredients
- 3 carrots
- 1 tsp salt
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp honey (or sugar)
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp whole grain mustard
- A little black pepper
Instructions
Slice the carrots into thin
strips.
Sprinkle 1 tsp of salt over
the carrots, mix gently, and let them sit for 10 minutes.
After 10 minutes, squeeze out any extra water from the carrots. In a bowl, mix the carrots with: 3 tbsp olive oil, 1 tbsp honey or sugar, 2 tbsp lemon juice, 1 tbsp whole grain mustard, a little black pepper. Toss everything together. That’s it! Now your fresh, crunchy carrot salad is ready.
Ways to Enjoy It
Eat it on its own as a side
dish
Add a boiled egg for a quick
breakfast
Try it on bread with cream
cheese and egg slices
Or roll it into a kimbap for
a fresh twist!
