No Rice Cakes? No Problem! This Ramyun Rabokki Is a Game-Changer! ๐Ÿœ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Rabokki [Ramyun + Tteokbokki]

No rice cakes? No problem! Try this sweet and spicy rabokki using just one pack of ramyun.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pack of instant ramyun
  • A bit of carrot
  • 2 green onions
  • 1–2 sheets of fish cake
  • 1 boiled egg (optional)

Sauce:

  • 1 tablespoon gochujang (Korean red pepper paste)
  • ½ tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • Dried vegetable flakes (from the ramyun packet)
  • Half of the soup powder packet (or soy sauce as a substitute)
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic

Instructions:

Step 1

In a pan, add 2 cups of water and all the sauce ingredients: gochujang, sugar, ketchup, garlic, vegetable flakes, and soup powder.



Step 2

Add the onion, carrot, and fish cake. Bring to a boil.


Step 3

Once boiling, add the noodles. Cook for 3 minutes.

Step 4

Add chopped green onions (and a boiled egg if using). Simmer for 30 more seconds. Turn off the heat and serve! It’s simple, comforting, and you won’t even miss the rice cakes. Perfect for a quick meal!
