5-Minute One-Pan Egg Toast (Two Ways)
A warm and cozy breakfast
you can make with just one pan.
Choose the soft & creamy
style, or the sweet Korean-style street toast —
both are simple, satisfying,
and perfect for busy mornings.
1) Soft & Creamy One-Pan Egg Toast
Ingredients (1 serving)
- 1 slice of bread
- 2 eggs
- ½ avocado, thinly sliced
- 2 slices of ham (or your favorite deli ham)
- A small handful of mozzarella cheese
- 1 tsp butter
- 1-2 pinches of salt
Instructions
Step 1. Cut the bread in
half. Slice the avocado thinly and set aside.
Step 2. In a small bowl,
beat the eggs with a pinch of salt.
Step 3. Heat butter in a pan
over medium-low heat.
Step 4. Pour in the egg and
spread it evenly.
Step 5. Place the bread
halves directly on top of the eggs.
Step 6. When the egg is
almost set, carefully flip the whole piece.
Step 7. Fold the extra egg
edges over the toast to make a neat rectangle.
Step 8. Cook the ham in the
same pan until warm and lightly browned.
Step 9. Add avocado slices
and mozzarella on one side of the toast.
Step 10. Place the warm ham
on top, then fold the toast in half.
Serving Tip
Soft egg + creamy avocado +
warm ham = a perfect gentle breakfast.
Try dipping it in a little mayo + sriracha + honey for a richer flavor 😋
2) Korean-Style Sweet &
Savory Egg Toast
Ingredients (1 serving)
- 1 slice of bread
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup shredded cabbage
- A little shredded carrot (optional)
- 2 slices of ham
- 1 slice of cheese
- Ketchup + condensed milk (or sugar / jam)
- 1 tsp butter
Instructions
Step 1. Cut the bread in half.
Step 2. Beat the eggs with a
pinch of salt, then mix in the cabbage (and carrot).
Step 3. Melt butter in a pan
over medium-low heat.
Step 4. Pour in the egg
mixture and spread it gently.
Step 5. Place the bread on
top. Let the egg set, then flip carefully.
Step 6. Fold the egg edges
neatly around the bread.
Step 7. Cook the ham beside
it, then add cheese and place the ham on top.
Step 8. Finish with a
drizzle of ketchup and a little condensed milk.
Step 9. Fold the toast in
half and serve warm.
Why Condensed Milk?
Korean street toast is known
for its sweet + savory contrast.
Condensed milk adds a creamy
sweetness that blends beautifully —
but you can use sugar or jam
if you prefer.
