This is probably one of the easiest Korean side dishes you can make. Simple ingredients, quick to prepare, and so satisfying to eat. It’s perfect when you want something easy but still homemade.

Ingredients

  • 1 can of corn (drained)
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 3 tbsp starch
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • A little water (optional)
  • Bell pepper (optional)

Instructions

1. Drain the corn and lightly blend it (not too smooth).


2. Add corn, egg, flour, starch, and salt to a bowl.

3. Mix everything well. Add a little water if you want a softer texture.

4. Heat a pan with oil and spread the batter thinly.

5. Cook until the bottom is golden, then flip and cook the other side.

Tips

  • Don’t blend the corn too smooth — a little texture tastes better
  • Spread the batter thin for better results
  • Fresh corn works great, especially in summer
